Every June the Alzheimer’s Association provides new opportunities to learn about habits that enhance brain health. Their many resources encourage us to be proactive and take action in a number of ways: advocating for legislation to increase access to testing and improve lives of caregivers, joining Alzheimer’s Association initiatives like the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Do What You Love to End ALZ, and volunteering. Available year round, in-person presentations on a large variety of topics relevant to Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia are available to Councils on Aging.
